The magazine mentions that new york times released an opinion piece accusing Lopez of taking the Affleck name not long after tying the knot in July.

She laughs about the possibility of Affleck becoming Mr. Lopez. It’s not traditional. There is no romance there. Feels like a power move. Do you understand what I mean? I have complete control over my life and destiny and feel empowered as a woman and as a person.

Lopez and Affleck began dating in 2002, got engaged that year, and split in 2004.

While they broke up, Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018. They are parents to Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, while Lopez is 14. She shares 12-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, whom she was married from 2004 to 2014.

Lopez’s darling is well aware that Affleck has always held a special place in her heart. After getting out of a relationship with , the actor got in touch with Lopez after the magazine asked him to comment on her.
