A legend in her own right, Taylor set out to document the living legend of BC.

“I wanted to ensure that the stories of these extraordinary women and men were recognized and preserved. I wanted to capture their individuality, drive, enthusiasm and dedication.”

Taylor interviews, artists, businessmen, social advocates, environmentalists and more. Among them are Doug and Diane Clement who persuaded us to get off the couch and move on. Ratana and Aaron Stephens led us to organic food consumption. Chief Robert Joseph for showing us the way to reconciliation. Jody Wilson-Raybold who showed what his courage looks like when standing up to the Prime Minister.

“I focused on 26 extraordinary people who have served our state. Their reach is global. They are the people who said, ‘I’m hurt by it.’ People who make mistakes and keep coming back.

“Jimmy Pattison, Brant Louie, Dempsey Bob and Joe Segal are just a few of the BC Legends I’ll be sitting on this fall.”

Taylor, host of the BC Legends television series (CHEK TV, Thursdays at 9:30), joined the conversation on why preserving a legendary story is a gift to future generations, future legends.
