Disney has released a trailer for her movie Idina Menzel: How To Get To The Stage? On Wednesday, she tells the story of her rise to fame and culminating in her dream venue concert.

“We did 17 shows and finally it’s my dream place. [Madison Square] garden,” she shared. “This tour is bigger. It’s telling the story of my life, how I got here.”

Menzel began singing at an early age and dreamed of performing on Broadway. Her breakout musical role was in Jonathan Larson’s Off-Broadway production. rent, She signed a record deal with her agent.

But that wasn’t the beginning of her meteoric rise to fame.

“You might think that’s what’s going on, but I didn’t sell the record and then dropped out. I just started over,” the actress recalled.

She received her second wind with her role as Elsa in Disney’s Frozen, which was a global phenomenon, and saw Menzel gain worldwide recognition.
