Homicide unit investigating after man stabbed in North York dies of injuries

The Toronto Police Homicide Division is currently investigating a man who was stabbed to death Sunday night in North York from his injuries.

Shortly before 8:30 am on Monday, police announced the victim had died.

The incident occurred near Jane Street and Finch Avenue West.

A man was found at the scene with a stab wound, police said. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries in the emergency run.

At this time, the circumstances leading up to the stabbing remain unknown.

Investigators have also not released any questionable information.

This investigation is ongoing.
