Chris Evans doesn’t have a bigger fan than his own mother.
The actor was named this week people‘s “Sexiest Man Alive”, and many wondered what his mother, Lisa Evans, would think of the honor.

“My mother will be very happy,” he told the magazine. “She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can be really proud of.”
Of course, Chris knows his mother well. In her interview with 7 News in Boston, Lisa expressed her joy that her son’s good looks have finally been recognized.
“My response was, ‘Yeah, of course, it’s about time!'” she said.
She added: i’m pretty happy about that. ”

And, as Lisa explained, it’s up to her to brag about how humble her son is.
“He’s always amazed by his success. I’m amazed by what people think of him,” she said, adding that a friend would “absolutely sadden him about it, but they’re so funny.”
