Waterloo Local Police are investigating a deadly clash involving a young child north of Elmira.
At approximately 10:20 am on Monday, paramedics were called to the facility at Sandy Hills Drive and Arthur Street North in Woolwich Township.
Police determined the tractor hit the child when the farm vehicle was backing up.
The girl was taken to an out-of-province hospital where she later died from her injuries.
