Canadian Track and Field League wraps up inaugural season
of Canadian Athletics League (CTFL) wrapped up its first season of the summer, crowning the Bears as inaugural champions and finishing the CTFL season with 105,774 points.The Bears were led by a Jamaican Olympian Loxroy Katowon CTFL gold in the 400m hurdles and set the fastest 400mH time on Canadian soil this season with a time of 50.82 seconds.
The Huskies were second to the Bears with 100,328 points. His last two remaining teams, the Arctics and Spitfires, finished with 98,005 and 97,965 points respectively.
Awards for 2022
Following the championship, the CTFL MVP race was an all-out race as four contenders of both genders were nominated for top honors.
