Sing us a song – you are the piano man!
Billy Joel will do just that when he makes his “historic” debut on February 25th at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, about two hours from Toronto.
Joel, 73, is set to officially open the casino’s new OLG stage, which was announced at the end of August and opened in October. This is described as a “state-of-the-art 5,000-seat” theater.
“From the moment we began discussing bringing a world-class venue to Niagara, we knew the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino would enhance Niagara’s entertainment landscape.
“Today, we are accomplishing that goal by unveiling a true Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and cultural icon as our grand opening act.”
Joel has sold over 160 million records worldwide, won six Grammy Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Legend Award, and has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Duncan Hannay, President and CEO of OLG, said:
Tickets for Billy Joel start at $175 and go on sale November 25th at 10am at ticketmaster.ca.
