Abbott World Marathon Majors is about to add a seventh marathon

The Abbott World Marathon Majors has announced three running races, aiming to expand to the seventh marathon by 2025.Australia’s Sydney Marathon, South Africa’s Sun Lamb Cape Town Marathon, China’s Chengdu Marathon Among the three candidates.

To become a world major, three marathons must meet strict standards for three years, and the selected races will participate in a group of established races: Tokyo Marathon, Boston marathonTCS London Marathon, BMW Berlin MarathonBank of America Chicago Marathon and TCS New York City Marathon – as a new member of the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors Group in 2025.
