Rogers will drive underground development, testing and demonstration of emerging technologies at the Rogers Technology Center of Excellence, located within the NORCAT Underground Center.

Rogers continues its commitment to investing in Ontario to bridge the digital divide and support the local economy with new 5G sites and 5G uplift of existing cellular towers.

SUDBURY, ON, Oct. 19, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —Today, Rogers Communications joins forces with NORCAT, a global leader in developing and delivering skilled worker training and innovation services, to accelerate technology adoption announced a five-year strategic relationship to world mining. Through this collaboration, Rogers will establish the Rogers Technology Center of Excellence at the NORCAT Underground Center to enable innovative new solutions to improve the efficiency, safety and productivity of the global mining industry.
