VANCOUVER, British Columbia, October 19, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — X1 Entertainment Group Inc. (CSE: XONE; OTCQX: XOEEF; FSE: ZI0) (“X1” or “CompanyVideo Game and Media Portfolio Company”) announces that it has changed its name from “X1 Esports and Entertainment Ltd.” to “X1 Entertainment Group Inc.”.

“The change of name from X1 Esports and Entertainment to X1 Entertainment Group represents the next stage in the integration and rationalization of our brands and portfolio. The official name change follows growth from notable acquisitions in which X1 added influencer management company Tyrus LLC, Rocket League news outlet ShiftRLE, and Octane.GG to its existing portfolio, which includes esports organization Rix.gg. will be done later.
