Woman injured after airsoft gun fire at Manitoba high school: RCMP

WINNIPEG – The RCMP has charged a 12-year-old boy after a woman was shot with an airsoft gun at a high school in northern Manitoba.

The Cavalry says officers were called to school at Nelson House Monday morning.

A 31-year-old woman who works at the school suffered minor injuries.

The RCMP says the boy was told he brought a gun to school.

Airsoft guns are replica guns that fire plastic projectiles.

The boy faces several weapons charges and was released from custody.
