The public is invited to listen to an online discussion hosted by the Black Council of Windsor Essex that focuses on the use of the ‘N-word’ in local high schools.

The Zoom meeting is scheduled for Saturday at 4:30 PM.

Interested parties are encouraged to visit www.tbcwe.com/townhall to pre-register.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss controversial incidents and “develop next steps for community response.”
The outrage, which included a small outcry last week, saw a white female teacher at the WC Kennedy College Eight Institute yell the “N word” in front of her students when she expressed her disagreement with the song’s inclusion of the word. The incident reportedly happened on November 9th. According to the Black Council, the teacher spoke out again when describing the incident in a “restoration circle” organized by school administrators.
