Woman taken to hospital with serious injuries after two cars collided in Bolton
A 49-year-old woman was taken to a trauma center in an SUV after colliding with a dump truck driver in Bolton on Sunday morning.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:30 am on Route 50 between Countryside Drive and Mayfield Road, northwest of Route 427.
The victim’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening, Peel District Police tweeted.
The dump truck driver remained at the scene unharmed.

Peel Police are currently processing the scene.
Please note that Highway 50 is currently closed at Coleraine Drive/Major Mackenzie Drive. Countryside Road is blocked off at Coleraine, but the westbound Nashville Road is currently off-limits as well.
