Westland Insurance Group Announces New CEO

Brenda Eaton, Chairman of the Board of Westland, commented:

Wubs has served as co-CEO of Westland since 2009, then CEO. In these positions, he led a brokerage firm that has grown from a local company to one of Canada’s largest domestic brokers with over 2,300 employees and 200 offices nationwide. In his new role, Wubs will continue to grow Westland through acquisitions, cultural initiatives, and execution of organizational strategy.

Commenting on Wubs’ contribution and appointment to Westland, Lyons said: His track record of success, combined with his authenticity and humility, define Westland culture. The management change follows a triple strike over the Westland acquisition earlier this month.
