Toronto’s Ehab El-Sandali Turns Pro, Signs With Puma Running

Nov. 20, Canadian long-distance runner from Toronto, Ehab El Sandari, After announcing his turning pro on Instagram, he signed with Puma Running and joined the Puma Elite Running Team in North Carolina.

El Sandari, 25, represented Team Canada at the senior level twice at the 2022 World Indoor Championships and the 2019 World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark.

Earlier this year, El-Sandali graduated from a six-year stint at the NCAA’s Iona College, leading her to six consecutive MAAC conference championships in cross-country.

“I am very excited to be part of the PUMA running family,” says El Sandari. “It has always been a dream of mine to run professionally and compete at the highest level.”

Elsandari is coached by two-time US Olympian Amy Cragg, She finished ninth at the 2016 Rio Olympics with her husband, an Irish Olympian. Alistair Cragg With the PUMA Elite Running Team.

“I enjoy Craggs’ style of coaching. “The first few weeks were hard to adjust to some of the workouts, but my teammates did a great job of feeding each other.”
