The 2022 Juno Awards opening night was scheduled for Saturday, May 14th in Toronto and aired on the CBC before the main Juno Awards event.
Weekend was one of the Grand Prizes of the Opening Night Awards, receiving the Juno Award for Songwriter of the Year (third award in this category) and the Contemporary R & B Recording of the Year “Take My Breath”.
Singer Charlotte Cardin has also won three Juno Awards for the artist of the year, the single of the year “meaningless”, and the pop album of the year’s debut album. I had a big night. Phoenix..
