“It’s always an incredible feeling to win. Today was a perfect example of the Davis Cup at its best. It was a very difficult task for us and it tested us in many ways.” But they have great energy and when they find the energy in the game I’m sure they can beat any team in the world. It was amazing to see. They are very good in the game. Once I showed my enthusiasm and found my rhythm, I played right out and (really) controlled the game.”
Canada’s next challenge is on Saturday when they face Italy in the semi-finals. Ties will be played at 7:00 AM ET.
