DRUMHELLER, Alberta, Oct. 18, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Today, Capstone Infrastructure Corporation (TSX: CSE.PR.A) (“Capstone”) announced that it has completed the installation of solar panels at two new projects in Alberta. Since 2018, Capstone has acquired and advanced over 435 MW of new solar and wind development projects statewide. This includes the successful commissioning of the 132 MW Claresholm Solar in 2021. This was Canada’s largest solar installation at the time.

Two new solar installations, Michichi Solar in Starland County and Kneehill Solar in Neehill County, will each generate 25 MWac of electricity. This is enough electricity to power his 12,000 homes in Alberta each year.

Capstone’s leadership in building partnerships with the private sector to help companies meet their climate change and decarbonization goals will allow the electricity and environmental attributes generated from Michichi Solar to become Canada’s largest midstream oil and gas company.
