(CSE: TRAC) (OTC: TRCTF) (FRA: Z1K) (“Company” Also “traction) is pleased to announce that it will conduct monazite-hosted rare earth element (REE) research at Key Lake South (KLS) through the “Monazite Beneficiation Study” conducted by the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC). .
The main objective of the tests conducted by SRC is to determine the most efficient beneficiation route for monazite ore enrichment. Some of SRC’s services are Canadian National Research Council Industrial Research Support Program (NRC IRAP).
The test program includes the following areas of work:
- Chemical analysis and characterization of as-received raw ore samples, including ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) spectroscopy
- Crushing of as-received raw ore samples, including sample preparation, particle size distribution, and heavy liquid separation
- Preliminary beneficiation test consisting of gravity, magnetic separation and flotation
Key Lake South (KLS) and REE as seen from historical drill hole KEY005:
Historic drill hole KEY005 lies within an elliptical magnetic medium intersected with abundant pegmatites (see Figure 2) and a 10.7 meter section was analyzed for rare earths by SRC, yielding 0.544% total rare earths ( TREE) average grade was returned. , including a 0.2-meter section with a tree up to 7.611%. A QEMSCAN analysis was performed on sample 011-0185 in SRC, confirming that “monazite is the only observed host of his REE.”
