Vernon Vipers win wild one in preseason opener

Hockey is again in Vernon.

The Vernon Vipers kicked off their season with a preseason tilt on Sunday, Sept. 3, taking over the Path Smoke Eaters.

Each groups fielded a primarily rookie-laden roster because the opener to the preseason within the BCHL started. Common season video games usually are not scheduled to start till Friday, Sept. 22.
