Travis Scott’s first festival since the Astroworld tragedy was cancelled-E!online

Two months before the “Sicko Mode” rapper was set as the co-headline for the DayN Vegas Music Festival SZA When J. Co. The event organizer has announced that the entire event has been cancelled.

“We are pleased to announce that the combination of logistics, timing and production issues has forced us to cancel Day N Vegas in 2022,” read the July 1st announcement on the festival’s socialization. “The refund process will start immediately and the funds will appear in your account within 2-4 weeks.”

Day N Vegas was scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Labor Day weekend in September. This event would have marked Travis’ first festival appearance since the tragedy at his Astroworld Festival in November.

At the Houston event, eight people died from accidental choking after being crushed by a crowd, and two more died in the hospital the next day. Victims ranged in age from 9 to 23 years. Travis is currently facing a number of proceedings related to the Astroworld Concert.
