Toronto police investigate GO train robbery

Toronto police are looking for a man wanted for armed robbery on a GO train.

Investigators say the male suspect boarded Cart 2705 of the GO train at Eglinton Station bound for Union Station shortly after 11:15 pm on November 18.

The suspect sat next to a male passenger and asked for his mobile phone.

According to police, he also brandished a knife and pressed the blade against the victim.

No injuries have been reported.

The suspect is black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds, is of medium build, and has a golden tooth on the upper left side of his mouth.

Police said the man was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, brown boots with white fur and was carrying a camouflage rucksack.

Police have released security images of the suspect.
