On Wednesday, at a block height of 757,214, statistics from coinwarz.com show that Bitcoin’s total hashrate reached an all-time high (ATH). BTC’s network hashpower data shows that the last hashrate ATH was recorded on September 11, 2022 at a block height of 753,647, reaching around 301.87 EH/s.

Bitcoin’s total network hashrate hit an all-time high on October 5, 2022 at a block high of 757,214.

Before the jump over 300 exahash, the network’s hashrate reached its previous ATH on June 8, 2022, reaching 292.02 EH/s at a block height of 739,928. The latest Total Computing Power ATH is taking place in the middle of crypto winter as the price of BTC is 70% below the crypto lifetime price high of $69,000 on November 10, 2021.

Moreover, the increase in hashrate came at a time when the difficulty of mining BTC also recently hit an all-time high. At block height 753,984, the difficulty increased from 30.97 trillion hashes to 32.05 trillion hashes.

Today it is down at 31.36 trillion hashes, but is expected to grow by 7.10% at the next adjustment. If that adjustment estimate comes true, he could reach 33.59 trillion hashes on October 10, 2022.

The all-time high of 321.15 exahashes per second is equivalent to 0.32115 zetahashes per second (ZH/s). An exahash is 100 quintillion, but one zetahash is an immeasurable 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1 sextillion) hashes per second.

By 2:20pm ET, the total hashrate had dropped below 300 exahash and is now on track at 287.98 EH/s.
