A man from Coldstream has been issued a three-day curfew (IRP) after a one-vehicle crash at Okanagan Landing.

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP received a report of a crash at approximately 8:20pm at the intersection of Tronson Road and Lakeshore Road.

“The officers responded with Vernon Fire and Rescue Services and BC Emergency Medical Services,” said media relations officer Const. Chris Teleski. “At the scene, they found a small Chevrolet Cobalt overturned on the side of the road.”

In interactions with the driver, investigators suspected that the driver’s ability to drive the car was affected by alcohol.

The request was read out to the driver, a 27-year-old man. He provided a breath sample to a roadside screening device, resulting in a “warning.”

The man was issued an IRP under the BC Motor Vehicles Act.

No crash injuries have been reported.
