BREAKING: Amber Alert cancelled, B.C. youngsters discovered secure

The 2 youngsters in a province-wide Amber Alert have been positioned safely, police say.

Surrey RCMP stated Saturday (July 29) that round 7:20 p.m. that Joshuah, 10, and Aurora Bolton, 8, had been positioned secure. They’re now within the means of being reunited with their household.

“We acknowledge that many have been following this investigation intently because the AMBER Alert was issued,” stated Cpl. Vanessa Munn “We sincerely recognize the help from the general public, media, group and policing companions, who all performed an essential function in serving to to soundly find the kids.”

The kids had been reported lacking by their father to Surrey RCMP on July 17, after their mom, Verity Bolton, didn’t return them again to him.

The Amber Alert was issued July 19.

Verity and her youngsters left the Surrey space for a deliberate trip within the Okanagan on June 28.

Verity was final seen in Kamloops leaving a grocery story on July 15 and the kids had been final seen at a Merritt fuel station on July 7. The three had been believed to be travelling with Verity’s father, Robert Bolton, and her boyfriend Abraxas Glazov.

Police believed they had been dwelling off-the-grid.
