The original women of “The View” reunited to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary.

Joy Behar, Meredith Vieira, Star Jones and Debbie Matenopoth all gathered for the first time in years for a special segment aired in an episode of Thursday’s hit daytime talk show. The four women gathered at the Essex House in New York, where “The View” was auditioned in 1997.

Many of the topics discussed by the organizers included how they felt about impersonating “SNL” in the 90’s.

“I wish my character was more interesting,” Vieira said. “I love Molly Shannon, but I didn’t have much.” Nevertheless, she told her former colleague, “I liked it.”

Matenopros felt the same as Vieira, but Jones joked about why it was. “You made every celebrity play you!” Jones exclaimed, referring to actress Claire Danes, who hosted Matenopros in one of the show’s sketches. “So every celebrity guest in’SNL’played her all the time,” Jones added. “These pretty blonde hosts have always been Debbie.”

“I was always done by a man,” Behar pointed out, saying Jones was often portrayed by Tracy Morgan, a cast member of “SNL.”

“The View” celebrates its milestone anniversary all week long with special co-sponsors such as Seth MacFarlane, Sara Bareilles and Mike Colter.
