‘The Masked Singer’ Wins Season 8 Champions — Meet the Musical Superstars Who Earned the Golden Mask Trophy!

‘The Masked Singer’ Season 8 crowned an all-new champion on Wednesday! After breathtaking performances from the final two contestants (The Harp and The Lambs), we took home the Golden Mask Trophy was the only one!

First, we’ll take a look at how the night unfolded. Scroll down to see who won and who narrowly won.

In keeping with The Masked Singer’s long tradition, this season’s gameplay and competitive format was significantly different than any other season before it.

As such, Harp had to battle it out and defend the crown for three consecutive weeks before earning a place in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the Rams needed to win his second week in a row, and the Snowstorm he only needed one win to advance to the semifinals.

However, The Lambs and The Harp defeated Snowstorm last week to go head-to-head in Wednesday’s finale.

The harp was the first to take the stage, and the golden goddess wowed the judges with her joyful and energetic rendition of Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory.”

“Oh my god,” said Nicole Scherzinger in amazement. “This is how it’s done!”

“Girls, you just put all the awards shows to shame. It was the best finale show performance I’ve ever seen in all eight seasons.

Next came the Rams, a trio of divas who covered Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman,” and certainly weren’t shy. The audience applauded and led the judges onto the stage for a literal ending. Pyrotechnic Bang.

“I have to send an SOS because I’m in trouble. That was amazing!” Jenny raves.

Nicole, on the other hand, said the performance was the perfect embodiment of “women supporting women.”

For the second round, The Lambs were the first to join, with a performance of Foreigner’s ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’, creating a more emotional and romantic atmosphere. Although slowing the tempo is risky, the number brought the audience to tears and proved to be an impressive showcase for his vocal skills.

“Thank you for the love you’ve spread to us,” Nicole shared with reverence.

The Lambs certainly brought some feeling to the stage, but The Harp still had one last chance to pull off a win. But it was a masterclass in owning the stage.

It gave her the chance to hit some impressive high notes, ending with choruses, sparks and fog, serving as an undeniably perfect climax to another wild season.

“I think we all got chills,” said host Nick Cannon.

“I thought the opener was great, one of the best I’ve ever heard on this stage!” said Robin Thicke. “You brought it into the stratosphere…it was pure.”

After all the songs have been sung, it’s time to count the votes to determine a new champion…and the winner is…

…harp!

But before we learn the true identity of the new “Masked Singer” queen, it’s time to find out who the Rams are. has proved he has a great ear by correctly guessing that it is Chinna Phillips, Wendy Wilson, and Kearney Wilson of the iconic pop group Wilson Phillips!

The divas confirmed his guesses when he removed a giant lamb’s head and marveled at the experience of being on the show.

“It’s a trip I’ll never forget,” Wilson said. “It was amazing. I’m speechless. I’m speechless.”

After Wilson Phillips’ unmasked encore performance, it’s time for Harp to reveal her true identity. This time, it was Nicole who got the chance to show off her guessing skills when she correctly predicted that Harp was actually “Glee.” Alum and musical theater superstar Amber Riley!

All panelists climbed onto the table to cheer Riley on enthusiastically as she reflected on her time on the show.

“Just being here and being fully covered and having my talents talked about was such an amazing experience,” Riley said. “I hope everyone can feel my soul because I bare everything on this stage.”

When asked if he had a message for his fans after his big win, Riley said: It may be hard, it may be a rough road, but it will be totally worth it at the end of the journey, so keep going!”

In the final moments of the finale – just before Riley pulls off his mask for a fun performance – Cannon has confirmed that “The Masked Singer” will return for Season 9 next year!
