The first entertainment talk show where “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” won a Daytime Emmy Award

For the first time, The Ellen DeGeneres Show was not nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show.

Snabs were revealed after the show aired for 19 seasons and before the show ended later this month.

Ellen was completely excluded in this year’s Bash after losing in the outstanding entertainment talk show category of the “Kelly Clarkson Show” at last year’s ceremony.

Instead, Global’s “The Drew Barrymore Show,” “Hot Ones,” “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” and “Today Show with Hoda and Jenna” will appear in the gong.

“Ellen” has won two nominations. A good writing team for daytime nonfiction programs and good art direction / set decoration / scenic design.

Good talk shows were previously presented as a single category. DeGeneres covered it for four consecutive years from 2004 to 2007 after the show began in 2003.

DeGeneres was nominated annually from 2008 to 2021 and won eight more times when the categories were divided into excellent entertainment talk shows and excellent informative talk shows.

Her total of 12 outstanding talk shows, the Daytime Emmy Awards, means she has robbed more than any other show in the history of the ceremony.

DeGeneres won the Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show Hosts four times between 2005 and 2008. Entertainment WeeklyHaven’t submitted myself for consideration for years.

The show has been in the spotlight over the past two years after several employees have blamed the “toxic” work environment.
