The end-of-season episode of the “FBI” scheduled to air on May 24th (Tuesday) has been missed.
deadline CBS reports that it has decided to yank the episode because of its sensitivity to Tuesday’s tragic school shootings in Yuvalde, Texas. There, 14 students and teachers were killed by an armed 18-year-old.
As deadline Notes, episodes feature storylines that can get in the way in the light of the latest episodes of gun violence in the United States.

Instead of that planned episode, CBS will instead air a rerun of the episode previously aired in February. ET Canada has confirmed that Global, which broadcasts the “FBI” in Canada, will also pull the episode and broadcast the same rerun.
At this time, CBS has not indicated plans to remove the new spin-off episodes “FBI: Most Wanted” and “FBI: International” (both of which are also airing tonight’s season finals) from the lineup.
The “FBI” will air globally on Tuesday at 8 pm.
