R&B singer B. Smith dies at 28

The hip-hop community has lost a visionary young man.

R&B musicians B. Smith (birth Brandon Smith) died on November 17 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis, according to his brother DenzilHe was 28 years old.

In an Instagram post shared the same day, Denzil said B. Smith died of respiratory failure caused by lung disease.

“My brother was super excited to see you create a lot of challenges for his latest released single,” Denzil captioned the post, adding the song “Twerkaholic, Pt. 2”.

He went on to share how the positive response to the track influenced B. Smith’s final days, stating: My family would like to thank everyone for their love and support over the years. ”
