Joss Stone and Cody DaLuz welcome second child after ‘horrific’ 30-hour workday

Joss Stone and partner Cody DaLuz have expanded their family.

The British singer revealed on Instagram that she and Dalz recently welcomed their second child, son Shackleton Stoker Dalz.

In the caption of the video she posted, Stone wrote that her son was born on October 18th. “Thank you for staying with us during our trip.”

In the video, Dalz holds his daughter Melissa while Stone holds her newborn son.

“How are you guys doing? We just had another baby – this is him,” Stone told her followers.

“I decided I wanted to have a natural birth…it didn’t happen, did it?” Stone said, playfully addressing her son.

“He was nine pounds. And two ounces, a little bigger than the doctor had.” [expected],” she added.

The baby was “a little big,” Stone explained, and her “uterus ripped open” during the 30-plus hours of labor, and Dalz admitted the situation was “scary” for both of them.

Stone said his son arrived safely thanks to the medical staff at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

“Anyway, the doctors and nurses at Vanderbilt saved my life and they saved his life. They’re amazing and I love you all at Vanderbilt. Thank you so much,” she added.
