Rogers will help over 50,000 young people through 2022 Community Grant Program, Canadian Business Journal

TORONTO, Nov. 03, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Rogers Communications today announced that it has awarded the 2022 Ted Rogers Community Grants to more than 70 registered charities and nonprofits. The Community Grants program will help young people aged 15 to 29 in the areas of education, digital literacy, health, sports and entrepreneurship.

Tony Stafieri, President and CEO of Rogers Communications, said: “Our young people are the future and we need to do everything we can to give them the best start in life.”

Since 2017, Rogers has awarded hundreds of Ted Rogers Community Grants to programs that help deserving young people. This year, the recipient organization will help her over 50,000 young people in 250 communities nationwide.

Rogers invests $5 million annually to provide educational opportunities for Canadian youth through community grants, Ted Rogers Scholarships and more. He has also donated over $10 million over the past decade to create access to youth sports programming through the Jays Care Foundation.
