Lupita Nyong’o to star in ‘A Quiet Place’ spin-off

Lupita Nyong’o is feeling the spirit of Halloween.

Nyong’o is in final negotiations for the lead role in A Quiet Place: Day One. Director Michael Sarnoski (“The Pig”) deadlineNyong’o (“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, *”Star Wars: The Last Jedi”) was in the 2019 horror film “Us” directed by Jordan Peele.

According to the publication, Thurnoski will direct and write a “Quiet Place” spin-off based on the story of John Krasinski. Krasinski directed and starred in ‘A Quiet Place’ co-starring with his wife Emily Blunt, and also directed the sequel ‘A Quiet Place: His Part II’.

The spin-off will take place in the same world as the previous two films, but without Brandt and Krasinski reprising their roles as the Abbott matriarch and matriarch, respectively.

A Quiet Place: Day One will premiere on March 8, 2024.
