Sunny Hostin, co-sponsor of The View, said he was “without exception” against abortion, but was a 1973 ruling that established federal protection against the right to abortion in the United States. When the US Supreme Court overturned the case against Wade, it believes it was misunderstood. ..
Hostin and the rest of the “The View” panel discussed the court’s decision for most of Monday’s show. The 53-year-old lawyer and writer said her Catholic faith was the main reason she personally opposed abortion. But she also added that her religious beliefs should not affect federal law.

Hostin replied when co-host Sarah Haynes was forced to support abortion in the event of incest or rape. I don’t. “It’s considered very radical for many, and that’s because I’m Catholic and it’s my faith,” she added.
She went on to say, “The judges are two because there are six Catholics on the bench, the latest judge, Ketanji Brown Jackson, is Protestant, and there is one Jewish believer. There are Protestants. ” “So this has always been a very difficult argument for me, but what is not difficult for me is the fact that this is the Supreme Court of activists and they should not decide the law based on their beliefs. And I agree with Arito about the Sanctity of Life … but the fact that he clearly uses and wields his religion is pretty terrible. “
