SOI Foundation embarks on inspiring ocean conservation expedition, Canadian Business Journal

Gatineau, QC, September 9, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The SOI (Students on Ice) Foundation is embarking on an important initiative. marine conservation expedition From September 7th to September 29th, 2022, explore the stunning Bay of Fundy and Nova Scotia’s East Coast.

The expedition brings together representatives of indigenous communities, government officials, academia, youth, community members, as well as non-governmental and industry partners, to provide education, research, and facilitation for those involved in marine conservation efforts. create a platform for transformation.

The expedition will take place on MV Polar Prince, a Mi’kmaq-owned expedition vessel (Miawpukek-Horizon Maritime Services) affiliated with SOI for educational, research and marine conservation expeditions. Combined with his expertise in leading and facilitating SOI’s 20-year educational expedition, he facilitates:
