Matthew McConaughey remembers those affected by Uvalde school shooting 6 months: ‘We want those lost lives to matter’

Matthew McConaughey remembers people who were gunned down for six months in his hometown of Uvalde, Texas.

On May 24, 2022, an 18-year-old boy with a semi-automatic rifle killed 21 people, including 19 children, at Robb Elementary School.

“Camilla and I were asked to come to the funeral home chapel and see the bodies with the family. This is holy time, holy ground.
