Crown calling on judges to revoke rich bail, claiming continued support for “Freedom Convoy”

Prosecutors are seeking to revoke Tamara Lich’s bail and send her back to prison. She claims that she violated the conditions of her first release by continuing to participate in the causes associated with her “her liberty convoy.”

The application submitted by Prosecutor’s Assistant Moiz Karimjee preceded Rich’s planned appearance in Ottawa’s court for bail examination on Thursday.

Her lawyer, Lawrence Greenspon, was expected to challenge the situation currently restricting access to Lich’s social media.

It is not entirely clear how Crown’s latest application will affect its hearing.
