Sanderson Sisters returns to terrorize Salem with the “Hocus Pocus 2” teaser

On Tuesday, Disney + debuted the long-awaited first teaser for Hocus Pocus 2, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the witches Sanderson sisters.

“It’s been 29 years since someone lit a black flame candle to revive their 17th-century sisters. They want revenge,” the official account says. “Now, on the eve of every Halloween, before dawn, it’s up to three high school students to prevent the greedy witch from bringing a new kind of havoc to Salem.”

At the teaser, actresses Whitney Peak and Belissa Escobedo learn the legend that a witch empowers her on her 16th birthday.

The original “Hocus Pocus” was premiered in 1993 and has steadily become a family favorite with home videos and cable screenings, despite mixed reviews and low box office revenues.
