Ryan Satter is open about the illnesses that have taken over his life.

“Single” alum said people About his struggle to adapt to the diagnosis of Lyme disease.

“For a long time, I was only thinking about how to survive the day,” Satter said. “But it feels like life is back, and it really encouraged me.”

Satter first began to experience symptoms in March 2020. The former firefighter maintained his healthy lifestyle when he suddenly experienced extreme fatigue.

“It seemed painful, zero energy, and even impossible to get up from the couch, and it began to swirl rapidly,” he recalled.

He sought medical advice from a variety of specialists who could only rule out cancer, lupus, and other illnesses due to the high levels of antinuclear antibodies that often indicate autoimmune diseases.

“We’re back in Square 1,” said his wife Trista Satter. “It was very frustrating.”

During that time, Satter had to deal with the consequences of an unknown illness, often sleeping for more than 16 hours a day.

“It took over my life,” he said. “I always felt like I could do anything. But I couldn’t stand this. I didn’t want to die. But I sympathize with people who want to commit suicide rather than survive something. I was able to do.”

They were finally diagnosed with Dr. Jill Kanahan in May 2021. Dr. Jill Kanahan confirmed that Lyme disease and mold had accumulated on the body of Satter, who had probably weakened the immune system since the days of firefighting.

To combat the disease, Satter found salvation with unconventional therapies, including infrared sauna therapy and bee venom therapy.

“Honey bee venom weakens bacteria,” Carnahan explained.

“The flow is changing and I’m feeling better,” said the star. “And I’m grateful for the little things now. It’s a change of perspective.”

“Ryan is very strong, and we know we can get over anything,” Trista added.
