Roughriders re-sign national linebacker Blinghi

After appearing in 12 regular season games in 2022, national linebacker Tommy Bringi has re-signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Bringi was a fourth-round pick (36th overall) in the 2022 CFL Draft out of Wilfrid Laurier University. The 22-year-old Blingi has recorded one defensive tackle for the Riders and six specials for his team.

Prior to joining the Riders, the 5-foot-11-inch, 229-pounder played 23 games over three seasons with Wilfrid Laurier.
Bringi has 147 defensive tackles, nine 1/2 tackle losses, five sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions and two pass breakups. did. He was named an OUA First Team All-Star for 2019 and 2021.
