During the appearance on April 24th Ellen’s Room Show, Good morning, America Anchor held back tears as she provided fans with the latest information on Rain’s health after revealing in February that her longtime partner was receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer.

“I didn’t talk much about it, but with you, I do,” Roberts, who had fought breast cancer in the past, told the host. Ellen DeGeneres.. “She’s fine. That’s great.”

“I experienced it twice and shed almost no tears,” continued the 61-year-old woman. “Every time I think about what Amber is experiencing, I get a puddle, but she is very courageous and handles it very well.”

Roberts added that he had previously been diagnosed with breast cancer and was able to give his partner a “little roadmap.” But she also helped learn how Rain could be a good caregiver, she said.
