Ricky Gervais is once again controversial.
In his new Netflix stand-up special, Super Nature, British comedians make a lot of jokes about transgender identities and get a lot of criticism on social media.

“I know there are a lot of weird women … Dame Edna Everage,” he mentioned the drug character played by Australian comedian Barry Humphries.
“Eddie Izzard. She’s great, isn’t she? She’s not only a great comedian, she’s also a great actress. She was great for that as a man,” Gervais added.
Izzard has been openly transposed since 1985 and announced in 2020 that she prefers the pronoun “she / she”.
Gervais continued to make jokes about the trans-community with the aim of changing the notion of femininity.
“Oh, women! Not all women, I mean old-fashioned women. Old-fashioned women, women with wombs. Those f ** king dinosaurs,” he said. “I love new women. They’re great, aren’t they? The new ones we’re seeing lately. The ones with beards and c ** ks. They’re as good as gold, I love them. ..
“And now, old-fashioned people say,’Oh, they want to use our toilet.'” Why shouldn’t they use your toilet? “” For women. To! “‘They that is Women — Look at their pronouns! Isn’t this person a woman? “Well, his penis.” “Her penis, you’re doing exaggerated things!” “What if he raped me?”‘Tentatively She Rape you, do you tinker with TERF? “

In a special a few minutes later, Gervais mentioned the controversy over Kevin Hart, who resigned as an Oscar host in 2018, over past homosexual tweets.
“We can’t predict what will be offensive in the future,” he said. “I don’t know who the dominant mob will be. For example, the worst thing you can say today is let me cancel you on Twitter, the threat of murder, what you say today The worst thing you can do is “women don’t have a penis”, right? Now no one has seen it come. I can’t find a 10 year old tweet that says “Women don’t have a penis”. Do you know the reason? We didn’t think we had to do that! “
Near the end of the special, Gervais added: I support all human rights, and trance rights are human rights. Let’s live the best life. Use your favorite pronoun. Be the gender you feel you are. But let’s meet on the way, young lady. Lose c ** k. That’s all I’m saying. “
GLAAD released a statement on Tuesday calling it “a dangerous anti-transrant disguised as a joke” in response to a special program.
Attention to Ricky and Netflix: People living with HIV today, with effective treatment, live a long and healthy life and cannot infect others with HIV. U = U 2/4

The LGBTQ community and its allies make it very clear that so-called comedians who spit out hatred instead of humor and the media companies that provide them with the platform will be held accountable. In the meantime, there are lots of interesting LGBTQ comedians to support. 4/4

ET Canada is seeking comments from Gervais representatives.
On Twitter, Gervais received a lot of criticism for jokes about trans women.
Ricky Gervais is hosting a new stand-up show on Netflix today.
Five minutes later, he is joking about trans women attacking and raping people in public toilets. To him, we only exist as inferior to punch lines, threats, and humans.

Before Ricky Gervais looks sad at the camera and says, “Some people put lipstick on a bunny 😥,” he squeaks at the brutally murder of the left-behind group every day. It is insane to make a noise and crouch.

Ricky Gervais will announce a new comedy special on Tuesday.
Netflix has been sitting on it for months because it’s more transphobic than chapel, but it’s released anyway for fear of right-wing repulsion.

In any case, if you support Ricky Gervais, you’re not on the side of the trance people.
You are not on my side. https://t.co/GwPNaloNvM

It doesn’t mean you’re funny because Ricky Gervais is an incredibly lazy comedian and doesn’t solve it just because you’re aggressive.
His fans now seem to be made up of right-wing nasty guys who find cruelty interesting just because it’s cruel and “induces freedom.” https://t.co/KG2RdDkL2K— Charley C 🚩🇵🇸 (@CharlieXCaine) May 24, 2022
When appearing at Jim Norton and Sam Roberts’ SiriusXM show last week, Gervais expected a negative reaction to some of his jokes in the new special.
“For me, it’s just a joke, so there’s nothing controversial,” he said. “I’ll explain what’irony’is at the beginning of the f ** king show, and everyone there complains about how many people I played with, 500,000 people. is not. They laughed at everything, didn’t they? But everyone will complain about everything in it. For each line, someone will complain. Do they hate it, do they not receive it, do it come later … about comedy. I can list 20 taboo themes. Everyone in the world laughs at 19 of them and hates the ones that affect them. “
