Irving had to decide to accept his player options until Wednesday, otherwise he would join the free agent as an unlimited free agent and qualify to sign another team.

Irving signed with Nets as a free agent in 2019, but only appeared in 103 regular season games over three seasons.
The NBA Free Agent will open Thursday at 6 pm ET.
