Report: Free agent DE Jason Pierre-Paul joins Ravens on 1-year deal

Free agent defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has signed with the Baltimore Ravens, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reported Thursday.

The deal is for one year and is worth up to $5.5 million, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

A 12-season veteran, Pierre-Paul boasts an illustrious on-field resume with two Super Bowl championships (one with the New York Giants in 2011 and the other with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020). In 2011, he was named to the All-Pro First Team.

The Ravens started the 2022 season 1-1, taking a 21-point lead in the second half before losing to the Miami Dolphins 42-38 in their most recent game.

Pierre-Paul has 91.5 sacks, four interceptions, 21 forced fumbles and 10 fumble recoveries in 165 career games.
