Dragic began the 2021-22 season at the Toronto Raptors after being distributed as part of a trade package that landed fellow point guard Kyle Lowry from the Miami Heat during the 2021 offseason.

After receiving a limited amount from Nick Nurse’s head coach, Dragic was traded to San Antonio Spurs in exchange for forward Thaddeus Young. The 14-year veteran was soon acquired by the Spurs and eventually signed to Brooklyn Nets.

Dragic, 36, shot 36.2% with an average of 13.7 points and 3 points in 14 seasons in Phoenix, Houston, Miami, Toronto and Brooklyn. From Slovenia, he formed an all-star team in the heat during the 2017-18 season to help him advance to the 2020 NBA Finals.

Dragic scored an average of 7.5 points, shooting 25.4% over last season’s arcs in Toronto and Brooklyn. The Bulls were ranked 4th in the NBA with an accuracy of 3 points, but this was their last attempt.

The Bulls took a big step forward with the best record in seven years, with DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine leading the way in 46 games. They solved their biggest off-season issue last week when they signed a contract with LaVine for up to five years.
