ET’s Cassie DiLaura spoke to the actress at the premiere of ‘Something From Tiffany’s’ about the similarities between her new romantic comedy and her iconic Tiffany moment in 2002’s ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ .
“I think there’s something very magical about that Tiffany moment,” Witherspoon said. “I often hear stories about how that ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ moment sticks in people’s minds. I always love collaborating with this brand because it’s this timeless, classic Because it’s a beautiful brand.
Her favorite part of filming the “magical” scene at her beloved jewelry store was the scene she recreated in 2015. Witherspoon told ET that she needed to keep Tiffany all to herself. Told
“I was 24 and it was a night shoot, so we stayed up all night and the whole store was closed so we were allowed to walk around and see all the jewellery.” The “Morning Show” star said. “And it was magical. Very magical.”
Witherspoon’s latest turn behind the camera brings in the same brilliance.In the movie, which opens Dec. 9, Zoey Deutch sees an engagement ring that was for someone else but they’re together. You play a woman whose life goes awry when you guide her to the right person.
Witherspoon, executive producer of the project, said, “It’s just a classic, kind of misunderstood movie. You get New York at Christmas time.” “This is him one of those movies you want to sit down and watch over and over again.”
With the holiday season just around the corner, Witherspoon said she and her family are lounging by the fire, and that’s what they plan to do.
“Oh, so much fun,” she said of what the holidays look like at home. I saw the movie and I loved it.
“Something From Tiffany’s” premieres on Prime Video on December 9th.
