The 21-year-old Estonian was suspended by Red Bull last week while waiting to investigate the language used by Red Bull. Vips apologized for his actions.
“Following an investigation into an online incident involving Juri Vips, Oracle Red Bull Racing has terminated Yuri’s contract as a test and reserve driver,” Red Bull tweeted. “The team does not tolerate any form of racism.”
Vips intervened with Red Bull F1 driver Sergio Perez in the first practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix last month and finished at the end.
Vips has won the podium three times in this season’s F2 Championship.
