Hailey Kiyoko mourns death of fashion designer Joshua Van Reader

Haley Kiyoko mourning the loss of her friend Joshua Van Reader.

The singer took to Instagram on Nov. 9 to share a touching tribute to the fashion designer who recently died by suicide. “Joshua Van Reader, your art continues to share the light and joy you have brought to so many. You appreciate life’s ups and downs, and I always encouraged me to keep moving forward.You were there for me when I needed it most.”

Hailey continued, “I wish I could have been there to remind you of the things you always reminded me of. I know you gave your best and fought hard.” I love you and miss you.”

The “For the Girls” singer ended the post encouraging her to reach out to her followers in need with a list of available hotlines.
