Cambodian PM tests positive for COVID-19 at G20 days after hosting ASEAN summit

He arrived in Bali late Monday and said he was lucky not to attend a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron and other leaders.

The White House said Biden tested negative Tuesday morning and is not considered a close contact as defined by the US CDC.

Cambodia was the host of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit, which ended on Sunday, and Hun Sen met with many of the leaders who attended one-on-one.

Biden was joined by many other guests, including Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

In a Facebook post, Hun Sen said he “doesn’t know” when he contracted COVID-19.
