Cambodian PM tests positive for COVID-19 at G20 days after hosting ASEAN summit

In a post on his Facebook page, the Cambodian leader said he tested positive for coronavirus on Monday night and had his diagnosis confirmed by Indonesian doctors on Tuesday morning. He said he would cancel the G-20 meeting and the upcoming APEC Economic Forum in Bangkok.

He arrived in Bali late Monday and said he was lucky not to attend a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron and other leaders.

The White House said Biden tested negative Tuesday morning and is not considered a close contact as defined by the US CDC.

Cambodia was the host of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit, which ended on Sunday, and Hun Sen met with many of the leaders who attended one-on-one.
